Throughout my blog so far I've been randomly selecting chocolate desserts. What I really want is to get your feedback about what I should continue to make. Tell me, what's your favorite chocolate dessert and why? Is it a childhood favorite? Or perhaps you've tried it for the first time recently and fell in love? I wanna hear all about it!
Thanks for reading/following my blog!
You can't go wrong with chocolate fudge. Every year my family buys a whole bunch of it down at the beach, a wonderful combination of nostalgia and deliciousness!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite chocolate dessert has to be a good old fashion brownie. They are simple to make, but I was thinking you could add some personal variation on it; like your own take on brownies. Caramel, M&M's, or even chocolate fudge like from the post above. There are a lot of possibilities and I bet you could come up with something that would take brownies to the next level.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite chocolate dessert is good old chocolate ice cream. Put some whipped cream and Hershey's syrup onto and it's perfect every time.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too big of a chocolate fan, but I really enjoy ice cream and I work at an ice cream parlor. Hot fudge is something that is good, but, in my opinion, is typically better when it is homemade. So I think trying to make hot fudge might be a fun idea, and something more unique for a chocolate dessert blog!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite chocolate dessert is probably chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. It's simple to make and it always satisfies the person eating it every time, unless of course you do not like peanut butter. In this case I would say another favorite of mine is a chocolate, cream cheese cupcake. If you plan on making a batch of these I might recommend adding a few chocolate chips to give it a little bit more texture and sweetness in the middle.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite chocolate dessert is "Rolo Cheesecake Bars". I came across the recipe a few months back and have had friends and family BEGGING me to make them more. The dessert consists of a crispy graham cracker crust followed by a layer of cheesecake with mini Rolos within. Next comes the chocolate glaze on. The dessert is decorated with half of a mini Rolo on the top with caramel and chocolate drizzle! Photos and the recipe can be viewed in the link below. You will NOT be disappointed.

When I was a kid my mom would buy mix for pudding (the cook and serve kind, not instant) and a graham cracker crust, and fill the crust with the cooked pudding. Chocolate Pudding Pie. I still make it regularly because it's cheap, easy, and better than Oreos!
